Congratulations to Jeniko guild – they are the winners of the Ragnarok Philippine Championship (RPC) Season 2. Their finals match with Vengeance guild is the highlight of the recently concluded 10th Anniversary Celebration of Ragnarok Online held at the Skydome, SM North EDSA.
The 10th Anniversary of Philippine Ragnarok Online is definitely a milestone for the game, for Level-Up Games / PlayWeb, and for gamers like me. We’re expecting another 10 more years to the first MMORPG game in the country.
Today’s event is complete with our favorite games and events like the Zeny or Bayong and the Cosplay Competition. There were 2 new contests that were introduced in today’s event – the T-Shirt Design Contest and the Guild Poster Contest. I was indeed impressed with the entries. Truly, Ragnarok players are also skilled at graphic design.
There was also a Pizza-Eating Contest sponsored by Fatboy’s Pizza Pasta. A team composed of 4 Ragnarok players raced to finish eating a box of pizza. There was also the popular Headgear-Making Contest and the Hourly Raffle of Ragnarok in-game items.
Former GM’s of Ragnarok were also present during today’s event – including Silvermaine and GM Aeon (who joined the Cosplay Competition as a Crusader).
Prior to the finals match of Jeniko versus Vengeance, popular band Kamikazee played for the gamers with their hit songs “Narda”, “Martyr Nyebera”, “Chixilog” (theme song of Ragnarok) among others.
