I was one of the 30 lucky Nuffnangers who won free tickets to the movie “Resident Evil: Retribution” which was shown yesterday at the Newport Ultra Cinema, Resorts World Manila, Pasay City.
It was my first time at this new shopping destination and I was amazed at how beautiful the place was. It was a total entertainment place that includes casino, bars, theater (where the play The King and I is currently being shown), and cinemas. I was amazed at the carpeted ground floor and the elegance of Resorts World Manila. This is my first time to visit a mall that has casino in it.
I went there to watch the movie and I left MRT Ortigas around 6:30 PM. I took off at MRT Taft Avenue station and rode a shuttle bus to Resorts World Manila for a P20 fee. There’s a shuttle terminal right beside the MRT Taft Avenue station.
This is also my first time to watch a movie in a theater that has Lazy-Boy! I was surprised at the price of the tickets (P500 each) and all the 30 Nuffnangers got two tickets each. Unfortunately, my Plus One couldn’t make it so I just returned the other ticket to be given to someone else.
As much as I wanted to take pictures of Resorts World Manila using my DSLR, I was hesitant to do so because there are A LOT of security guards inside the mall and even outside of the establishment. Thus, I just took pictures using my BlackBerry 8520.
By the way, Resorts World Manila is located just across the street from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) 3 and just besides the Remington Hotel. This area of Resorts World Manila is often referred to as Newport City.
I went home around 10:30 PM and I rode the same shuttle service just outside the Star Cruises Centre. It was indeed a night of “firsts”. Thank you Nuffnang Philippines for a wonderful night!
