This year’s On-The-Spot (OTS) contest in Villa Escudero is different in a way because we take pictures of the event in Close-Up category (not the usual Wide Angle or 18-55 Kit Lens). Shooting a fiesta in macro (or close-up) is something new to us.
One of the most photographed groups of performers during the Villa Escudero’s Feast of the Ascension is the members of Banda 31 Original of Sta. Maria, Bulacan Inc. Probably because of their uniform in red-orange combination or their musical instruments.
Other reasons why most of us shoot their group are because of their musical instruments. It’s really good in macro/close-up – showing the details of the flute, drums and other musical instruments.
Here are my close-up pictures of Banda 31 Original of Sta. Maria, Bulacan Inc. I would love to take their pictures again on June 22, 2014 at Luneta. They will give a performance at the Concert at the Park.
