How To Share Your Videos Safely

This is the wholesome version of the blog post I did for Bading na Kolboy. This is about two software: one use for grabbing the video and the other one for sharing the video.

If you happen to stumble upon a video that you like and you want to grab it (save it on your hard disk), then you need this Video Downloader. Once you installed this video download, all you have to do is copy the URL of the video that you want to grab and paste it here. Click Start to begin downloading the file and after a few minutes, Voila! It’s now copied on your hard disk.

Now, if you want to share these videos safely on the Internet, you’ll need Dropbox. It’s an improved version of Microsoft SkyDrive wherein an extra folder will be created on your hard disk and whatever file you put in that Dropbox folder will have a public link. Everyone who knows what the public link is, would be able to view the contents of your Public Dropbox folder.

1. Install the Dropbox software. Get it here.
2. Copy the videos (and other files) to your Dropbox folder.

3.  Right-click the video (or file) that you want to share, go to Dropbox and click Copy Public Link.

4.  Create an email via Thunderbird, Outlook, Gmail or Yahoo! and paste the link there. Send the email to your friend. Once your friend received the email link, the moment that he click on the link, he’ll be able to view your video (or file)

How To Download Jaybob Movies

I have several straight guy friends who are into movies. However, it’s surprising to know that they are not familiar with Jaybob nor the download site torrents.to (where I literally download every movies that I watch). For me, Jaybob is the best uploader of quality torrents and movies on the Internet. For those of you who are also into movies and music, and are not familiar with him, go ahead and try this steps on how to download movies using Jaybob’s torrents.

1. Install the latest torrent software on your computer. I would recommend using uTorrent.
2. Head over to torrents.to and type in Jaybob on the search box and click Search. It would then list down all the movies that Jaybob have uploaded.
3. Click the Age tab to arrange the movies according to the date on when Jaybob uploaded it to know the latest movies uploaded.
4. Select the movie that you wanted to download and click the link (the one that has the DL)
5. It would then download the file and would open your uTorrent client.
6. You can specify where you want to save your download anywhere on your hard disk. Otherwise, just click OK and it would download it on the last folder that you used for your downloads.
7. You would then see the movie that you just downloaded on your uTorrent list.

The Life and Rebirth of Gael

Aside from looking for my soulmate, I’m a bit busy playing Ragnarok Online. I finally decided to have my knight named Gael change to a lord knight (the next job level to knight).

In Ragnarok Online, there is a concept called rebirth. When a character reaches level 99 (the highest for 1^st and 2^nd jobs), they have the option to undergo a rebirth and progress to a transcendent job then the 3^rd job.

Let’s talk about the “career path” of my character named Gael. He started out as a novice then progress to the first job: magician, thief, acolyte, swordsman, merchant or archer. He decided to be a swordsman. Upon reaching the maximum job level of 50, he has the choice of whether becoming a crusader (which later becomes a paladin, then royal guard) or a knight. Gael chose to be a knight.

Upon reaching the maximum level of 99, he then meets with the Valkyrie and decides to do a rebirth. Meaning, he’ll start another life and begins as a high novice. Then from a high novice, he levels up to high swordsman and then a lord knight.

Right now, Gael is a lord knight and hopes to be at level 99 again very soon. Upon reaching level 99, he can then transform to a 3^rd job: rune knight. Then he aims to be at the maximum level (for a 3^rd job) of 150. So, for some Ragnarok characters, he have to be at level 99 twice and then at level 150. That’s how tough life is at the Ragnarok world.

Now think about this: I have more than 24 characters (in 5 different accounts) in Ragnarok online and some of them aim to be at level 150.

Gael’s rebirth started when he reached level 99 for the first time.

He meets with the Valkyrie and wished to be reborn.

He then starts his 2nd life as a high novice.

After killing some porings, fabres and lunatics, he becomes a high swordsman.

He then kills more monsters.

Until he reaches the level required to be a lord knight.

Then off to the killing fields again.

He then acquires a mount (ride) in the form of a grand peco. Then obtains a very useful skill: Clashing Spiral.

Level-Up!

More level-ups! And soon, he’ll become a rune knight. I’ll keep you updated on the life and rebirth of Gael.

Thank You David Beckham!

I saw my mom watching the friendly football match between our very own Philippine Azkals and David Beckham’s team L.A. Galaxy on Studio 23 a few minutes ago. She’s telling me how gorgeous David Beckham is and that a lot of Filipino celebrities are watching the match. That’s how popular David Beckham is that even my mom is nuts over him!

I actually want to thank the Philippine Azkals for making football popular here in the Philippines. I also want to thank David Beckham for making football even more popular. Also, I want to thank him for including Manila in his Asia Pacific tour.

His Manila visit is definitely a great publicity for the country and sending out a clear message that yes, there is a country in the Pacific called the Philippines that has fascination with football. Also, it’s clearly saying that it’s safe to travel in the country, in spite of all the travel bans being issued against the Philippines.

I never knew how the British people in general are into football (and tea) until our UK training 2 years ago. Now, seeing how David Beckham and the L.A. Galaxy play the sport gives me an idea how jam-packed a United Manchester (British football team) match is. Truly, football is something a Filipino and a British guy could talk about. Thank you David Beckham for making football this popular on Philippine TV.

I must say, I agree with my mom. He’s definitely handsome, athletic and sexy. Not to mention that he’s a HOT dad, a gorgeous model, and a romantic husband. An ideal model for all the straight guys out there.

Dads, Kamayan, Saisaki (SM Megamall)

Earlier today, we had lunch at Dads, Kamayan, Saisaki in SM Megamall. It’s my treat to my 3 closest call center friends in our account – 2 guys and 1 girl.

Since we have a very pleasant experience at Kamay Kainan in Market! Market!, we opted for Kamayan. Our big guy friend option for the Crossover: he can select any food from Dads, Kamayan and Saisaki.

Compared to Kamay Kainan, the Kamayan at SM Megamall was way expensive and the food choices are fewer. In Kamay Kainan, the fee is P289.16 per head plus P49.06 (Bottomless Iced Tea) for a total of P338.22/head.

Whereas in SM Megamall, it’s P385 (Friday-Sunday) per head plus P95.75 (bottomless Iced Tea) for a total of P484.75/head. Thank God, our big guy friend has a huge appetite and we feel that his meal is worth the P665 for the Crossover (between Friday-Sunday). Bottom-line, if you want to eat at Kamayan, better eat at their Market! Market! Branch. It’s definitely worth the price at Kamay Kainan instead.

They don’t even have ice cream at Kamayan SM Megamall. I thought that their branches are supposed to be calibrated (just like a fast-food chain). They don’t have a list of menu available similar to Kamay Kainan but there’s definitely fewer choices at Kamayan SM Megamall.

They even included a charge of P96 for a Coke which we never had. So you definitely have to be very careful in paying. Make sure that your itineraries are correct. The place allotted for Kamayan is also way to small compared to Kamay Kainan. We’re definitely not going back at Dads, Saisaki, Kamayan SM Megamall the next time we feel the urge to have an all-you-can-eat experience.

Nevertheless, we still manage to make our dining experience pleasurable by taking food photography practice. Check out the pictures!
