Before the Hagupit ng Habagat (Onslaught of Habagat), I was able to visit Subic Bay last August 4-5, 2012. On the morning of August 5, 2012, I visited the area of Subic Bay Freeport Zone where the Boardwalk used to stand. It was a gloomy Sunday morning. It’s been raining in Subic and Olongapo City for the past few days.
There were some people at the beach early in the morning as well. I saw a lighthouse from a distance and I wish I asked them what the name of that lighthouse was. I dipped my feet in the icy-cold waters of Subic Bay.
Subic Bay is quite gloomy during the rainy season. I promise not to visit it again until summer of 2013.
