I’ve Rediscovered Photobucket

Photobucket was the first website I’ve used to upload my pictures. I learned about this software through Ragnarok Online. At that time when Facebook is not the norm, we upload our pictures (screenshots) of the game on Photobucket before we post it on the Level Up! Forum.

Photobucket Desktop for Windows

Everything changed when Facebook knocked Friendster as the Philippines’ #1 social media. That was around 2009 when I finally created a Facebook account along with my Ragnarok friends. We created a group and we then posted our screenshots of the game through this popular networking site.

photobucket desktop

Unlike Friendster, Photobucket continue to reinvent itself and is very much alive these days. Since I got hooked to the forum of Pinoy Guy Guide and Digital Photographer Philippines (which are both forum), I have to revert back to my old Photobucket account and upload my pictures there before sharing it on this two popular forums.

I discovered that Photobucket now has the capability to automatically upload your pictures to their website similar to Dropbox. All you have to do is specify a folder where Photobucket will upload the pictures from. It’s pretty easy to install and use and I’m pretty sure that you’ll rediscover this great website.

Photobucket Website

They also integrated a lot of new features on their website to make it more competitive with Flickr. You can now edit your pictures on Photobucket’s website. You can now adjust your pictures, put some effects, overlay, border, stickers and texts. They even have an app for your mobile phone that’s very similar to Instagram called Snapbucket. It’s also compatible with Facebook and you can even add pictures from you Facebook account.

What are you waiting for? Create an account on their website today to know more about the Photobucket Desktop for Windows.

Thank You For The Traffic!

I am referring to blog traffic. I made a screenshot of the All Time traffic to this blog and had these results:

el toro stats as of June 3, 2012 B

Thank you Wizzdumb and Rent for all the traffic that you’re giving me.

I sure hope I could meet other bloggers out there that has a huge number of followers. Send me an email if you want to exchange links.

My First Tripod: Benro T600EX

I love taking night shots. I love to take pictures of parks and other places at night. I love capturing the lights from posts, lamps, fireworks and candles. Unfortunately, last New Year’s Eve celebration, I don’t have a tripod yet. I tried to capture the fireworks with my bare hands and the results are blurry pictures.

benro tripod

My Canon EOS 1100D has a bulb feature designed to take pictures of fireworks but it really requires a tripod to come up with an outstanding picture. After attending workshops with such photographers like Ricky Ladia, Winston Baltasar, and Jiggie Alejandrino and Noel Puyat (and partly due to advertisement), only one brand of tripod came to my mind: Benro. So when I got the chance to buy a tripod at Shangri-La EDSA, I immediately asked for Benro. That’s how advertisement affects a newbie photographer’s mind like me.

benro t600ex

Well, I tried it first with my Canon EOS 1100D and it really doesn’t “sway” as hard as the competitor brand. The tripod’s material itself is thicker, thus I went for Benro. Here are the other specs of the Benro T600EX Photo & Video Tripod:

  • 4 section tripod
  • 3-way, 1 pan-handle
  • Elevator type
  • With water level and quick shoe
  • Maximum height: 56.50” (roughly 4.70 feet)
  • Normal height: 46.85” (roughly 3.90 feet)
  • Folded: 22.44” (roughly 1.87 feet)
  • Made by Benro Industrial Inc. (China)
  • Weight: 1.46 kilograms
  • Price: P1,200 (from Shangri-La EDSA)

I can’t wait to try my new tripod.

Where To Download The Latest QuickBooks Installer?

I’ve been a fan of QuickBooks ever since I encountered it during my stay at the accounting office of a small construction firm. I’ve been visiting their support website to know more about the latest news of this software even after I resigned from this company.

quickbooks premier 2012

Lately, there is a hot topic in the support website regarding the upgrade that the maker of QuickBooks is doing that causes difficulty in downloading the installers for the different year (version) of QuickBooks. These links were already posted on the QuickBooks Forum support.quickbooks.intuit.com/support and I would like to post it here for fellow customers (specially in the US) who are clueless on where to download the installer.

Use QuickBooks Pro and Premier 2012

quickbooks pro 2012I first encountered this software named QuickBooks when I worked for Honeycomb Builders, Inc. (a construction firm) in 2001. I worked as the cost controller in one of their housing projects in Bacoor, Cavite named RSG Gueventhomes. Back then, my boss is the comptroller of the company and I was assigned to monitor the expenses in each housing units both labor and materials. I worked for HBI for 4 years and the last project I’ve handled was their housing project in Baguio City.

We are using QuickBooks in our accounting department back then. We are doing payroll for employees and contractual workers and we’re using QuickBooks to bill our customers for their monthly amortization. We also use the software in printing out checks and invoices. It was an indispensible program for an accounting department.

Today, the latest version of QuickBooks is the 2012 version and comes in two “flavors” – Pro and Premier. The only difference between the two are the number of users that can access the same information at the same time and the types of reports you could generate in it.

I don’t know how popular QuickBooks is here in the country but in the US, it is the #1 accounting software. I did some Google search and found out that QuickBooks is being distributed here in the Philippines by E-Methods for Business Management (e-mbm). For those accounting students who are studying the software and can’t afford to purchase it, they might probably be using the ones that are being sold at Greenhills, St. Francis Square or Quiapo.

For those who have credit cards and tech savvy enough are probably purchasing it from the US website and are using the following links for the download of the software. For the current and older versions of QuickBooks, you may click on the following links. The only problem is where to get a valid license number. Torrents maybe.

My Amazing Race TV Marathon

I don’t know how my interest in The Amazing Race got revived. I just realized that I’m watching it lately (via torrents) and that I’m even downloading the previous episodes! Right now, I’ve already watched Season 20 (just waiting for the final leg of the race) along with Seasons 19 and 18. I’m actually watching the previous seasons backwards. My BitTorrent right now is downloading Season 16.

The Amazing Race logo

It’s probably because of TV 5’s acquisition of the rights to do a Philippine version of The Amazing Race. Perhaps, it’s also because I keep seeing The Amazing Race on the list of latest TV episodes when I go check out torrents.to

Prior to my recent addiction to The Amazing Race, the last season of this show that I watched was Season 5 when the Philippines was a pit stop. That was in 2004, when I watched Colin and Christie prepared a rice field in Cavite for rice planting and that the pit stop was at the Coconut Palace. That was ages ago and I can’t believe that I’ve missed Seasons 6-15 (and still haven't watched Seasons 1-4). I have a lot of catching up to do.

For the record, I just spend 16 hours non-stop watching Seasons 19 and 18 yesterday (during my rest day). It was indeed amazing! It’s nice watching the show in High-Definition (from Season 17 onwards). There were a lot of changes to the game since Season 5 and the game totally improved – a lot!

Some of the things I’ve noticed right now in The Amazing Race is that the road block is almost equally divided into the 2 teams. One team member can’t perform more than 6 times in a Road Block. In Season 5, Colin did almost all of the Road Blocks. Also, I’ve noticed that Season 17 is the last time that the first clue to the race is strapped on their bags. Season 18 (moving forward) starts with a competition right away to get the first clue instead of racing to the nearest airport.

I’ve also reviewed the countries that The Amazing Race visited in the last 20 seasons and it’s sad to know that after Season 5, the Philippines was never visited again (compared to other Asian countries). I guess the TV show had a rough time during their stayed in the country that they promised never to visit again. It’s also a possibility that our Department of Tourism is not that accommodating to such reality TV or we’re still on the blacklist of potentially dangerous destinations in Asia. Whatever the reasons, I sure hope that they’ll visit us again soon.

Top 14 Countries Visited by The Amazing Race:
1. United States (All 20 seasons)
2. India (10 seasons - 1, 4, 5, 7, 10, 12, 13, 14, 18, 20)
3. China (9 seasons - 1, 2, 6, 10, 11, 14, 16, 17, 18)
4. Germany (7 seasons - 3, 6, 9, 14, 16, 19, 20)
5. France (5 seasons - 1, 4, 6, 10, 16)
5. Russia (5 seasons - 5, 9, 13, 14, 17)
5. Thailand (5 seasons - 1, 2, 9, 14, 19)
5. Argentina (5 seasons - 5, 7, 11, 16, 20)
5. Italy (5 Seasons - 1, 4, 9, 12, 20)
5. Austria (5 seasons - 3, 4, 14, 18, 20)
5. Japan (5 seasons - 9, 12, 15, 18, 20)
12. Malaysia (4 seasons - 3, 4, 11, 16)
12. Australia (4 seasons - 2, 4, 9, 18)
12. Brazil (4 seasons - 2, 9, 13, 18)

(Data from The Amazing Race Fan Site)

I envy our Asian neighbors that are “suki” (frequent destination) of The Amazing Race.

It’s nice to know though, that although the Philippines is visited only once by The Amazing Race, it gained so much popularity that local channel TV 5 is staging a Philippine version of it. I am definitely excited to see who the first teams for The Amazing Race Philippines are.

My Own Website

website

I'm planning to have my own website since Glenn's business is creating and hosting websites. Being the supportive boyfriend that I am, I should be one of his clients as well.
I'm still thinking of things to post on my own website. Should I go anonymous or reveal myself? Should I include my family and relatives to my audience?

Should I set it up as a personal blog or a photo blog? What are the things that my audience could do on my website?

Since this website is a paid website (well, Glenn will be giving me huge discount), I should think of ways of generating money out of it, through Nuffnang, Google AdSense, Black Label Ads or Infolinks.

Another question would be if I'll go wholesome (GP), not-so-wholesome (PG-13) or XXX (R-18). Right now, I have blogs that falls into these categories and I'm still thinking which one of these I should continue as a website (to eliminate the “blogspot” on the URL).

It would be great if my website would just be www.eltorobumingo.com or www.badingnakolboy.com. Since this website that I'm planning right now will be designed by Glenn and his staff, I'll probably name it like www.elmerlovesglenn.com. Sounds cheesy?

For now, I'll probably convert one of my blogs as a website and let's find out how it would go from there.

TV Series I've Been Watching Lately

I hardly watch TV lately. Not to mention that I'm not a big fan of our local tele-novela whether it's Kapuso, Kapatid or Kapamilya. I'm a fan of US TV shows and although I don't have cable subscription, I can still watch these favorite TV shows of mine via torrents:

the vampire diaries
1. The Vampire Diaries -- I have read the novels where this TV series is based and I love the story of Stefan, Damon and Elena. The TV series has evolved on a new storyline and maintaining only the names of the original character but it's a great story nonetheless.

young justice 2
2. Young Justice -- This is actually a continuation of Justice League. I love the way the characters are drawn and it gives new insights to DC characters. I love the eternal struggle between the Justice League of America and Legion of Doom.

the avengers
3. Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes -- The style of animation of this Marvel series is inferior to Young Justice but I love the storyline as well. Right now, it incorporates the Kree and Skrull conflict into the series (based on the Secret Invasion comics).

the amazing race
4. The Amazing Race -- Now on its 20th season, The Amazing Race for me is the best reality show. It has the drama of Big Brother, the competition of Survivor, plus the travel aspect of National Geographic.

the legend of korra
5. The Legend of Korra -- I've watched the entire episodes of the first Avatar TV series and this is definitely one of the best animated series ever produced. The story is very Oriental and unique.

I've also tried other TV shows like Grimm and One Tree Hill but these 5 shows are currently the ones that I'm very interested with. Thanks to torrents, I can still watch these shows even if I'm not a US citizen.

Right now, the great uploaders of these videos are Cool Release and AFG. Go check their upload on torrents.to

What are the TV shows that you’re watching?

My Lover, The CEO

ceo

I envy Glenn. He's the CEO of his own company that's been in the business for more than 2 years now. Their company, PHILWEBPLANS, is a service-oriented company that provides hosting, web design, and SEO services among others.

They have their own office at E. Rodriguez and he has his own workstation. He has his own schedule, he can log-off anytime, he can play loud music and he has absolute freedom in his office.

I actually envy him for having his own company. I really envied seeing his name in their DTI permit. That's how independent my partner is.

We usually chat via Skype in the afternoon. He uses their CCTV camera as his Skype camera! I can see how he works in their office. He also calls me at home frequently. Glenn is a bit obsessed at chatting with me all the time!

One time, I brought my laptop in their office so that he could have an idea on the contents of my laptop. I also explored his desktop computer. It's very clean! No adult videos or pictures. It's purely a work PC in contrast to my laptop.

sunglasses My lover Glenn is very handsome – at least to my naked eyes.

Glenn also meets with potential clients outside of their office. It gives him the much needed atmosphere outside of the office. Unlike me who's confine in the office 9 hours a day!

Due to the nature of his work (i.e. meeting clients) he seldom wears t-shirt. In contrast to my wardrobe which is 90% t-shirt and jeans! Glenn is more on polo, slacks and polo-shirt. He prefers the brand Oxygen while I'm into No Fear.

I am hoping that one of these days, he'll train me to be a SEO specialist as well and be able to work as a part-time employee of my lover, the CEO.

By the way, they were recently featured on GMA 7’s Saksi. Watch the video.

15 Must-Have Software For Our Customers

Application-SoftwareI've been a callboy (technical support agent) for 5 years now and it still surprises me that most of our customers don't use Firefox or Google Chrome. They're stocked to Internet Explorer and they don't explore the Internet or try other software to make the most out of their high-end computers or high speed Internet.

Sometimes it breaks my heart to see my customers computer (through remote access) without Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Download Manager, or other software that would greatly improve their Internet experience. In fact, some of the most common issues that we have can be resolved by using another browser (instead of resetting the Internet Explorer to the default settings).

So here are some of the free software on the Internet that I'm hoping our customers would discover:

1. Firefox or Google Chrome – very good substitute for Internet Explorer

2. FileHippo Updater Checker -- to get the latest version of software installed on our customers computer

3. Internet Download Manager -- to prevent corrupt download files and for our customers who are still on dial-up connection

4. Malwarebytes -- as substitute for paid antivirus brands

5. Gmail – this is the best email provider for me. It’s fully compatible with Windows Live Mail and Thunderbird

6. OpenOffice -- substitute for MS Office if they don't want to shell out dollars for a simple word processing tool

7. Thunderbird -- substitute for Outlook. This is free and reliable

8. iTunes -- for playing MP3

9. VLC – this is the best video player on the Internet

10. Picasa -- decent software for organizing pictures

11. Skype -- now fully integrated with Facebook

12. Toolbar Cleaner – this will help delete unwanted toolbars off your Internet browser

13. CCleaner – is the best way to remove temporary files and unnecessary items in the Registry

14. Dropbox -- offers additional online storage for our customers. This will also sync their data between computers and takes advantage of the cloud technology

15. Microsoft Security Essentials -- decent anti-virus software

Is there any other free software that I missed?

9 Reasons To Use Disqus

disqus2

Disqus is a plug-in for Blogger that manages the comments of a blog post. It’s an improved version of the Blogger comments. Sometimes it’s a dilemma for bloggers like me whether to install it or not. For the new bloggers out there, I strongly suggest using Disqus because of the following reasons:

1. It gives you a notification if your previous comment was replied by someone.

2. There is no need for CAPTCHA words. It’s irritating to enter a second CAPTCHA word or generate a new one because you really can’t see the letters clearly.

3. It is being used by such blogs as Chuvaness, Project Q, GM Tristan, Fox News, IGN, KUMAGCOW, among others.

4. Disqus gives statistics reports like Top Commenter, Most Replied Blog Post, and Recent Comments.

5. Disqus gives a link to your website or blog. Your name becomes a hyperlink

6. It provides email notification if there is a comment to your blog post. You can reply to the comment by replying to the email. No need to login to the website to manage the reply.

7. It also gives you the option to like a comment.

8. Disqus provides the option to sort comments according to best rating, newest or oldest.

9. If the person making the comment is a trusted one, he sees his comment right away. No need for approval.

PHILWEBPLANS

I’m here at my boyfriend’s office. He happens to be a freelance Search Engine Optimization (SEO) expert and CEO of the company PHILWEBPLANS. When I saw his name on their DTI Certificate, I suddenly felt the urge to have my own company registered as well.

pwp logo 2

Their company, PHILWEBPLANS, has an extensive experience when it comes to web design, website development and online marketing. They pride themselves on creating a website tailored to your business needs and budget.

They have an intense list of the things they can do for your business and website including:

iTunes 10.6 Crashes

iTunes-Latest

The latest release of iTunes is bugged. The last working version I have on my computer is 10.5. When the software updater of iTunes advised that version 10.6 was released, I upgraded to that version. I have two operating systems on my computer, XP and 7. I upgraded my iTunes on both OS and then the problem occurred on both OS. iTunes would load for a few seconds and then Windows would display a message that iTunes has stopped working. It’s definitely an iTunes problem or bug.

This issue is a hot topic among iTunes users and if you visit the Apple forum, you’ll find a lot of threads about this issue. I’ve noticed the problem since yesterday and sadly, Apple haven’t fix the problem yet nor release a more updater version that address this issue. Just when I thought Apple software are problem-free. The good thing is, I don’t have an iPhone or iPod to sync my iTunes to. It could have been worst for me.

When it comes to music player, iTunes is my choice over Windows Media Player or Winamp. iTunes is very easy to use and it organizes my MP3 files efficiently. Hopefully Apple will be able to fix the problem soon. So as a temporary solution to the iTunes 10.6 crash problem, I reverted back to iTunes 10.5 so that I could play my new album – One Direction’s Up All Night.

For those who wanted to revert back to iTunes 10.5, click here to download the installer.

Spotlight on The Orange Wit

orange

It started with a simple comment in my Bading na Kolboy blog. He left a comment saying:

Hello!
I've been reading your blog for a week now, i have it on my gmail reader in order for me to read it while i am at the office.

Anyways, I myself is a frustrated blogger and I need help with lay outing pictures on my blogs, like for example this post has several pictures and you want to have it outlined.

I wish you can help me.

LJ

I replied back via email saying:

Hi LJ!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog, Bading na Kolboy. I hope you like the pictures and the short description. You may also visit my other blogs listed below :)

Regarding your question about the lay-out of pictures in a blog, the best way to do it is by using Windows Live Writer 2011. It's a free software from Microsoft that is part of the Windows Live Essentials. You may download it from: http://explore.live.com/windows-live-essentials?os=other

The best part about that software is that, it will mimic the format/layout of your blog and then you would have the option to insert pictures. It formats it automatically based on the default format of your blog (whether from Blogger or Wordpress). If you want to increase or reduce the size of the pictures, you can click on the edges and drag it, similar to Print Artist.

Please do try it and blog layout would be as easy as creating a Word Document. Hope this helps!

Sincerely,

Elmer Loves Oreo (my first blog)

He replied back saying:

hello,

Thank you so much for the reply. Currently, my laptop is still in the province and I am just blogging thru the net cafe. On my free time, I write here in the office and just post in when I have free time. I will definitely try that and will give you update once it works.

Thank you so much for taking time to read and reply on my comment.

love, peace and happiness,

LJ

I answered back via email and wrote:

What's your blog name and address BTW?

And he mentioned his blog:

orangewit.blogspot.com. Its not as good as yours, though.

He’s name is LJ a.k.a. Orange. He works for a financial company that handles remittances of OFW from the Middle East. He’s also a blogger and bookworm. I’m very happy to see how his blog, The Orange Wit, transformed from an “dormant volcano” to an “active volcano” in just a few months.

The rest (as the cliché always say) is history. The first time I visited his blog in August 2011, it only have a page view of around 50+. Now, I just checked his blog and it now has 12,718 page views! Talk about a success story.

The good thing about Orange is that he really loves to write and that’s his asset. I just suggested a proper tool to make blogging easier so that he could focus on writing/blogging. That’s where the Windows Live Writer software came in. I’m also using that software as well and it really made blogging easier.

In about 45 days, The Orange Wit will be celebrating its anniversary! Congratulations Orange and good luck to your 2nd blog! I’m very happy to see how you accomplished these things in such a short time. You’re indeed a talented writer/blogger.

The Boys of One Direction

It’s my day 2 of One Direction infatuation. Yup, I’ve been listening to their music since yesterday night. I haven’t memorized who’s who among the boys but their names are Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson.

Just Jared just released new pictures and videos of the boys. I really find them cute and gorgeous (I’m on a teenager-mode) and I really like their voices, songs and MTV! I already downloaded their Up All Night album (thanks to torrents) and added it to my newly installed iTunes.

Check out their latest pictures! I’m a bit afraid that this blog would be a One Direction Fansite! (The same way Elmer Loves Oreo became a Markki Stroem and Carl Guevarra page).

Oh by the way, I find the blonde guy the cutest among the boys of One Direction. What’s his name?

Ragnarok’s Newest Server: New Iris

I was surprised to find out that today’s surprise for Philippine Ragnarok Online is a new server: New Iris. There is no definite date yet but it will be launch before this month’s end.

new iris

New Iris is a Free-2-Play (F2P) server (similar to New Loki, Valkyrie and Valhalla) and could be viewed as both good news and bad news.

The good news is, online players are rediscovering Philippine Ragnarok Online and it remains to be the main game being marketed by PlayWeb Games, Inc. (formerly Level Up! Games). This can also be a preparation for the expected return of former Ragnarok Players once major patches are released: namely Port Malaya and Samurai Era.

The bad news is, it could be another bot-infested server. This is a way for PlayWeb to monetize the game from hard-core Ragnarok players who wants fame in whatever means possible (including the use of 3rd party software also known as bots).

Whatever the reason why PlayWeb is releasing another F2P player, only the publisher knows. We will continue to support the game because of our friends we met through the game and because the game itself has a rich history and lots of features. Definitely New Iris would be another successful server (in terms of sheer number of players) and a competitor in the upcoming Ragnarok Championships.

Cheers PlayWeb and looking forward to new contents from our favorite online game – Ragnarok!

Software Update

Just a quick post. I did my regular software update scan today (via FileHippo) and I was surprised that my favorite browser, Firefox, is now at version 10.0. To think that I still encounter customers (via remote session at work) who’s using the 3.6 version.

Here are the other software on my computer that needs to be update.

What are the software that’s on your computer? What’s the update software that you’re using?

How To Download Jaybob Movies

I have several straight guy friends who are into movies. However, it’s surprising to know that they are not familiar with Jaybob nor the download site torrents.to (where I literally download every movies that I watch). For me, Jaybob is the best uploader of quality torrents and movies on the Internet. For those of you who are also into movies and music, and are not familiar with him, go ahead and try this steps on how to download movies using Jaybob’s torrents.

  1. Install the latest torrent software on your computer. I would recommend using uTorrent.
  2. Head over to torrents.to and type in Jaybob on the search box and click Search. It would then list down all the movies that Jaybob have uploaded.
  3. Click the Age tab to arrange the movies according to the date on when Jaybob uploaded it to know the latest movies uploaded.
  4. Select the movie that you wanted to download and click the link (the one that has the DL)
  5. It would then download the file and would open your uTorrent client.
  6. You can specify where you want to save your download anywhere on your hard disk. Otherwise, just click OK and it would download it on the last folder that you used for your downloads.
  7. You would then see the movie that you just downloaded on your uTorrent list.

I hope you were able to follow the steps and was able to download a movie uploaded by Jaybob. Please let me know if you have other concerns and I would gladly assist you. (Naks, parang tech support agent talaga).

Hope these screenshots would help.

I No Longer Know Where to Look for You

While I was reading some forum messages at Pinoy G4M, I thought of advertising myself in the format of a letter. I hope someone decent and serious would send me a message. I mean every word of this letter even though I typed this almost instantly. Whatever crossed my mind, I typed it. I think I typed this message in less than 3 minutes. I really hope someone notices.

I No Longer Know Where to Look for You

I'm referring to you, Serious Relationship a.k.a. Soulmate. You're one of the hardest thing to look for!

I've searched for you, sa pen pal ad. Hinanap din kita sa Yahoo! Group at Chat. Hirap mong hanapin.

You never left a message. Nung mauso Facebook, gumawa din ako ng account. Hoping that you'll Like me.

Gumawa ako ng blog for you, hoping you'll leave a comment that you're looking for me too. Sa mga Forums, iniwan ko number ko. I never got a txt from you.

Sa Ragnarok Online I met someone like you! Kaso, hanggang close friends lang talaga kami. It was the closest I could get sa 'yo.

I no longer know where to look for you. I'm approaching my 35th birthday na and I'm almost giving up. The flame of hope for that One Serious Relationship, ay unti-unti nang namamatay.

Pigment of imagination ka ata. Pero thanks sa 'yo, mukhang nakagawa na naman ako ng Blog Entry. Salamat and I'm still hoping, na one day, magparamdam ka na.

P.S.

Wish ko lang, 'pag nakita kita, 'di ko pa need gumamit ng Viagra

For my foreign readers:

I'm referring to you, Serious Relationship a.k.a. Soulmate. You're one of the hardest things to look for!

I've searched for you, in pen pal ad. I also searched for you in Yahoo! Group and Chat. You’re hard to look for.

I also joined text clan. Hoping you’re staying there. In bookstores, I pass by. You might be a book-lover.

In cinemas, in parks. Great, I no longer know where I’ll see you. In Sogo (hotel)? Wise Hotel?

In Friendster, I created a profile for you. You never left a message. When Facebook became a hit, I also created an account. Hoping that you'll Like me.

I created a blog for you, hoping you'll leave a comment that you're looking for me too. In Forums, I left my (cellular phone) number. I never got a text message from you. In gay sites, porn sites… I’ve searched for you. I also peek at web cams but you’re not in the mood for a “show”.

In YouTube, I looked for your upload. In GG Arena, I played DotA for you. However, “Good Game sire” is all you can utter.

In Ragnarok Online I met someone like you! But, we’re really just close friends. It was the closest I could get to you.

I no longer know where to look for you. I'm approaching my 35th birthday already and I'm almost giving up. The flame of hope for that One Serious Relationship, is slowly dying. Sometimes I feel like giving up and accept the fact that you really don’t exist in the gay world.

Neil Patrick Harris is simply plain lucky for finding David Burtka or Mark of Westlife for finding Kevin. It seems that Tiggah is also lucky for finding Pooh or Rocky for finding Tobie. They’re just plain lucky… and I’m just cursed.

How many times did I wish for you from Santa? How many times did I mention your name as birthday wish? Whenever I got a wish bone, it’s your name that I mention. Even fortune cookies, I give a crack out of it hoping that I’ll get a message that I’ll soon find you.

(Sigh)… you’re just giving me false hope, Serious Relationship. You’re probably just a pigment of my imagination. But thanks to you, I’ve created another Blog Entry. Thank you and I’m still hoping that one day, you’ll make your presence known.

P.S.

I’m just hoping that when I meet you, I don’t feel the need for a Viagra
