Remedios Royale Resort, Novaliches

A few weeks ago, our team decided to have a swimming activity at Remedios Royale Resort in Novaliches. We also created a music video for our account’s Summer Song Contest. We selected Calvin Harris’ “Summer”.

Remedios Royale Resort is located at #6 Katipunan Avenue, California Village, Novaliches, Quezon City. It’s very far from our company’s location, which is Libis, and I wonder why my colleagues selected this place.

Aside from the downside (which is the location), everything else is okay with the resort. The cottages are nice. The place is clean and the pool is lovely. I have no idea how much our team paid for the day swimming but it’s a decent place.

Panagbenga 2015’s Street Dancing (Part 1 of 3)

Last February 28 was the Street Dancing event in Baguio City as part of the 20th Year Celebration of its famous Panagbenga Flower Festival. I don’t know when exactly they started the Street Dancing competition apart from the actual Grand Parade (Float) but I didn’t notice it before when I attended the Panagbenga 2012.

I had a lot of pictures of the Street Dancing that I have to post it in 3 parts. It was attended by a lot of participants like the Philippine Military Academy, Vice Mayors League of the Philippines, Baguio City Public Market, United Korean Community Association in the Philippines, Philippine International Sisterhood & Twinning Association, Municipality of Liliw Laguna, Municipality of La Trinidad Benguet, Baguio Flower Festival Foundation, Pines City National High School Band, and several elementary and high schools.

Panagbenga’s motto has always been “Let a thousand flowers bloom”.

Baguio’s Panagbenga Festival 2015 In Pictures

The Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation (FPPF) declared this year’s Panagbenga Festival 2015 as one of its 4 On-The-Spot (OTS) contest this year, along with the Pulilan Kneeling Carabao Festival (Bulacan), Masskara Festival (Bacolod) and Kadayawan (Davao). It also coincides with the vacation of one of our photography friends in Baguio and he invited us to join him.

The highlight of this year’s Panagbenga was March 1 (Sunday) which was the Grand (Float) Parade. The day before that was the Street Dancing competition. Let me post some of my pictures of the Grand Parade. This is definitely a late post since it’s almost June but it is nice to see these pictures nevertheless.

Some of the celebrities I've seen in this year’s Panagbenga 2015 Celebrations are Asi Taulava, June Macasaet, Ogie Alcasid, Oyo Boy Sotto, Matet and Kristine Hermosa-Sotto.

Some of the companies that have a float are Jollibee, NLEX, Sprite, Department of Tourism, MLhuiller, among others. One of the most recognizable themes are from the movie “Epic” a.k.a. the Leafmen.
