I’ve Rediscovered Photobucket

Photobucket was the first website I’ve used to upload my pictures. I learned about this software through Ragnarok Online. At that time when Facebook is not the norm, we upload our pictures (screenshots) of the game on Photobucket before we post it on the Level Up! Forum.

Everything changed when Facebook knocked Friendster as the Philippines’ #1 social media. That was around 2009 when I finally created a Facebook account along with my Ragnarok friends. We created a group and we then posted our screenshots of the game through this popular networking site.

Unlike Friendster, Photobucket continue to reinvent itself and is very much alive these days. Since I got hooked to the forum of Pinoy Guy Guide and Digital Photographer Philippines (which are both forum), I have to revert back to my old Photobucket account and upload my pictures there before sharing it on this two popular forums.

I discovered that Photobucket now has the capability to automatically upload your pictures to their website similar to Dropbox. All you have to do is specify a folder where Photobucket will upload the pictures from. It’s pretty easy to install and use and I’m pretty sure that you’ll rediscover this great website.

They also integrated a lot of new features on their website to make it more competitive with Flickr. You can now edit your pictures on Photobucket’s website. You can now adjust your pictures, put some effects, overlay, border, stickers and texts. They even have an app for your mobile phone that’s very similar to Instagram called Snapbucket. It’s also compatible with Facebook and you can even add pictures from you Facebook account.

I Can Be Body Beautiful at Any Age with Wacoal

One of the “What If” questions that were asked to me before was "If you could be a woman for a day, what would you do?"

Bella

It would definitely be fun to be a woman for a day and try products used by most women

Since it's just one day, I’ll spare myself from giving birth or lactating a baby. I'll probably spend it with other things that are unique to most women – and that includes using the products endorsed by Kim Chu and Sarah Geronimo.

I would also love to try a woman's love for shopping, cooking, fashion, wearing a bridal gown and wearing sexy lingerie. So probably in the morning, I'll take a long bath and explore the contours of my new sexy body. I'll probably use all those beauty products that are marketed exclusively for woman -- from lipstick to feminine wash!

I'll also cook breakfast and dinner and have a great time eating with my parents or boyfriend. In the afternoon, I'll go shopping in high heels! I'll wear sexy skirt and carry a signature bag complete with the kikay kit. I'll also buy a very beautiful wedding dress which I'll use for an afternoon photo-shoot. It will be dream-come-true for a woman to have a very fashionable pre-nuptial wedding shoot in Intramuros, Wildlife or probably Vigan or Paoay.

Wacoal Ages

Wacoal products could make women of all ages be more beautiful

Then in the evening, I'll wear all the sexy clothes and lingerie that I could find in the store. I'll buy Wacoal products that caters to woman of all ages. Since I'm already 35 years old, I'll wear the type that would bring out the sexiness in my new body.

How can I be body beautiful at age 35 with Wacoal? By choosing their product that would best compliment my body size, hips and cleavage. Take note -- Wacoal is the leading manufacturer of women’s intimate apparel in Japan and their products are made from high quality fabrics and materials. It definitely looks stunning on a women’s body!

Wacoal

I love the contour of this T-shirt bra and the low-rise style of undies

I browse through their website and found the IB 5662 (Three-quarter cup T-shirt bra that’s thickly padded and ideal to get the cleavage effect) and the IP 5662 (low-rise panty) combination. The color is also perfect for me since I love the shade of purple. By wearing this lingerie, I could definitely achieve the goal of having a body beautiful at age 35.

I'll probably end the day with making love to a guy that I love to make my 1 day, as a woman, complete.

The Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation (FPPF) held their 25th Anniversary Celebration last Saturday, October 20, 2012 at the Fort Santiago grounds, Intramuros, Manila.

FPPF is a non-profit organization founded in 1987 to promote cooperation among photography associations in the country. Today, the FPPF is composed of several photography clubs all over the country.

The celebration started with a Fun Run around Fort Santiago but I arrived at the event around 10AM in time for the Cosplay Competition conducted by Canon.

There was also a workshop conducted by Ricky Ladia regarding the latest technology in strobist photography (using flash). They also had a photo-contest about wedding photography and the winner, Celso, was announced around 7PM. He won a Nikon D3200 DSLR.

Other activities include games in the afternoon like Photo Henyo, Photo Charade, Photo Quiz Bee and Photo Pick-Up Lines. There was also an auction of cameras.

The event was also jam-packed with Sponsors including Photozuela, Canon Philippines, Nikon Philippines, Sony Alpha DSLR, Samsung Cameras, Sandisk Philippines, Crumpler Philippines, Eneloop, Transcend, Tenba, PerfectShot, Phottix, BenQ Philippines, Rollei, CameraHaus, Colent, The Book, Intramuros Administration, among others.

FPPF also provided us with the latest issue of Frame One, the official publication. I enjoyed the FPPF Anniversary Celebration since I was able to bond with the members of our photography group. See you again guys next year for the 26th Anniversary Celebration of FPPF!

This Blog Just Turned 1 Year Old

Happy First Anniversary to this blog, el toro bumingo. Wow! I can’t believe that it’s been a year since I decided to create another blog that is different (but in a way related) to my first blog, Elmer Loves Oreo.

One Year And Counting

It was a colorful year for me and this blog since acquiring my Canon EOS 1100D DSLR. Suddenly, all the pictures that appear in this blog were high-quality. I owe it to you my readers. You’re the reason why I keep improving the contents of this blog (and the pictures). You’ve been very supportive of my blogs and my quest to become a professional blogger and photographer.

It’s coincidence that a few days before this blog’s 1st Anniversary, it also reached more than 100,000 page views! I’m very happy and I’m hoping that I’ll get more than 100,000 page views in the next year.

This year, you’ve seen me post pictures of the different workshops that I’ve attended to, my pictures of Subic Bay and Baguio City, my courtship and friendship with Sef, my short-lived relationship with my ex-BF Glenn, my feud with BMSD, several movie screenings by Nuffnang Philippines, my travel to different parks in Metro Manila and other stuff. I can’t thank you enough for staying with me and this blog, el toro bumingo, for the past year!

Keep visiting guys. Keep commenting and keep on giving me ideas on what to post next. I’m also hoping to meet more bloggers in the next year ahead and to finally have a permanent partner in life. Life is too short to be single so I’m very optimistic that I’ll have a domestic partner soon. Wish me luck and again, thank you for the visits!

Happy 1st Year Anniversary to this blog!

My Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center Experience

Last October 13, 2012 was my first time to visit the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center (NAPWC) in Quezon City near the Quezon Memorial Circle. I’ve been hearing from fellow photographers that this is an ideal place for outdoor photo-shoots and they’re actually correct. The place is a beauty and is truly an escape to the bustling city-life. If Makati City has the Ayala Triangle Gardens, this is definitely Quezon City’s version of that.

IMG_8193

I’m from Pasig City and the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center is just a bus ride away from EDSA-Shaw Boulevard Crossing. I rode a bus en route to Fairview with a fare of less than P50 (one-way) and an entrance fee of P8 (for adult), I was able to enjoy the greeneries of this luscious park. This is indeed a favorite place for outdoor photo-shoots due to a number of photo-shoots I saw while walking around the park.

The best part of the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center is the lagoon area and the animal sanctuary. I saw a lot of endangered species of birds (owls, falcons and parrots) and animals in the park and I wish I have a zoom lens to be able to capture these magnificent animals. This is my first time to see such rare animals like the Palawan Bearcat (Binturong, Manturon) and Palawan Palm Civet (known for its famous dung).

In the vicinity of the lagoon, you’ll see an amphitheater and several cottages. Unfortunately, the cottages were closed when I visited. There’s also a building called Bulwagan Ninoy but it was also closed to the public. There were several beautiful and modern structures within the area as well as traditional houses with Capiz-windows.

I enjoyed my stay at this famous park although there are still a lot of room for improvement like comfort rooms, signage, picnic areas, and benches. I do hope that the City Government of Quezon City would improve this park like what they did for the Quezon Memorial Circle. I hope personnel of Mayor Herbert Bautista would stumble upon this blog.

Have you been to the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center?
